I have one more testimony to share today, there r many more which i will share later on.
My dad came to see us off at the goa airport and left wit his bike . on the way he met with a serious accident we were at mumbai shivaji ch aiport whn i called home to ask if dad reahed but they said he didn't I was a bit worried bcoz it takes hardly 1 1/2 hrs to reach home from goa and it was already 3hrs whn i called home. I tried calling on dad's mobile several times but he didn't answer and i was really worried by this time. suddenly i rreceived a call from his mobile and i heard a different voice, i knew something was wrong. It was someone from the, i think 111 ambulance. he redialed the last no. which happened to be mine. He told me what had happened and that they took him to the hospital and all that. I couldn't speak a word i handed the phone to dh.
I 'll say that was my worst journey ever.During the whole journey i was crying and praying. Just before leaving our home in Goa we , dh, daddy and myself prayed to Jesus and we read Psalm 91 for protection. I prayed to God that He promised that He would not leave us, He would protect us , He would show us His saving power, i asked Him to make my daddy well and to show us His saving power. Daddy was in a serious condition the police were telling my brother when he went to collect the bike (My brother had to return from abroad coz my mom was alone and would need help) that he was in critical situation and none of them thought he would live. Daddy was in coma for nearly 2 days, when he gained conciousness he could not recognize anybody. He spoke any rubbish even when i used to call him.It was due to head injuries he had.At the hospital a lady prayed over him in tongues, i was told. Many people prayed for my daddy. We sent prayer requests to many ministries.now daddy is completely well. He is doing great he is blessed. And i thank God for keeping His promises from the Bible.
God is worthy of our Praise He alone is worthy.
Praise you Father, Praise you Jesus, Praise you Holy Spirit.
Oh I keep falling in love with HIM over and over again.

We all have times when we wake up in the morning and feel the blahs and blues; we don't feel very excited. But just because we feel those emotions doesn't mean we have to stay there and give in to them; we can shake it off and move forward in faith relying on God's strength.
A great example of someone in the Bible who had a lot of experience in shaking off negative emotions is David. He had to fight being moody, and he was the King of Israel. He had all kinds of opportunity, power and position. He was wealthy, and yet, he still struggled with being depressed and discouraged. That tells me that having to choose to rule over negative feelings is something every person has to deal with. Don't think you're alone if you feel this way. Turn to God and His hope. Don't think, "If I just had more money, if I had a better job, if I had a different spouse, then I'd be in a good mood, Joel. Then I wouldn't have to deal with these feelings." No, you may think that, but every person has to fight the temptation to just give in and live by how we feel.
I love what David did; he talked to himself. He said, "Why are you cast down, oh, my soul? Hope in the Lord." That's Psalm 42. He was saying in everyday language, "David, what are you doing in a bad mood? Stop looking at your problems and start looking at your God." That tells me that true joy is found only in God, when you take your eyes off of how you feel and your circumstances and place them on God and His Word.
Sometimes the best thing we can do is talk to ourselves and speak scripture over our lives. When you're tempted to be in a bad mood, go look in the mirror and say, "Listen here, self. You need to cheer up. Get your joy back, get your peace back. I'm not going to live this day defeated." You have to stay on the offensive. Don't wait until you've been down for three days before you decide to do something about it. The moment you feel that discouragement trying to come on you, rise up and say, "No, I'm not going there." You wake up in the morning and feel the blahs, you say, "Nope, that's not for me. This is going to be a good day. It's the day the Lord has made."
Do you know being in a sour mood because of your problems doesn't make it better, it makes it worse? It puts more pressure on you. It makes you more miserable. A better approach is to say, "God, I'm turning this situation over to You. I'm not going to let it steal my joy. I know You're in control. And at the right time, I believe You'll not only turn it around, but You'll bring me out better off than I was before." That's how we rule over negative feelings. It's simply a decision that we make every day where we have to dig our heels in and decide that our feelings are not going to dictate what kind of day we're going to have. You can rule over your emotions and choose to be in a good mood in spite of how you feel. You can choose what kind of day you're going to have. You can choose how you're going to live your life.
I know some of you, maybe in the natural, have a good reason to be down and discouraged. But don't allow yourself to go there. When you are stable in spite of what's come against you, that's one of the best ways to show God that you're trusting Him.
Decide not to live by how you feel. Go deeper than that and start living by what you know. You know God is in control. You know He's got a great plan for your life. You know His power is greater than any other power. When you wake up and those old negative, discouraging thoughts and feelings come, shake them off. Be done with that roller coaster living. Don't give into your emotions and let them keep you from God's blessings and promotion. Start choosing to live each day in God's peace. Decide that you're going to have a great day. By doing so, you will see God work in your life in greater ways because your eyes are fixed toward Him instead of your situation, and you'll live the life of victory He has in store for you!

Don't let people label you...

Todays message:
Throughout life, people are constantly telling us what we can or cannot become and what we have or don’t have. It’s just like they’re sticking a label on us: too short, too slow, too old, too many mistakes, not talented enough. These labels are not what God says about us. If we don’t know any better, we will wear them like they're the truth, and it limits what God wants to do in our lives. But understand, people don’t determine our destiny; God does.
If you’re going to rise to the next level and become everything God has created you to be, remove every label that is holding you back. You are not what people label you. You are what God labels you. God labels you, “chosen, forgiven, restored, redeemed, valuable, a masterpiece.” When you remember what God says about you, those wrong labels will not be able to stick, and you will see God’s victory in your life..

Hello

Hello Dearies,
Today I was watching a programme on religion tv and immediately I said Oh I love u God, I love u Jesus...and than in a fraction of a second a verse from the bible struck my mind, If you donot love your brothers/sisters on earth whom you can see, you cannot love God whom you cannot see, because 'God is Love', and immediately I made a prayer "God I love you, help me to love my brothers, sisters, neighbours too".
Well I want to start this thread to share messages which will inspire us to live and to hope and believe in God. These messages are from a few well know pastors and preachers who preach the word of God.Joel and Victoria Osteen, Dr.Crefflo and Taffi Dollar,Pastor Chris and Anita are just a few of them..

God has created you to be a victor, not a victim. Jumpstart your day by celebrating the very best that God has for you! These daily inspirations will help you grow in your relationship with the Lord and equip you to be everything God intends you to be.
So lets get started....to Discover The Champion In You..

These are a few pictures of the lunch we had this Easter at our place with a few of our friends. We had a wonderful time.
HAVE A HAPPY EASTER...
HE IS NOT HERE , FOR HE IS RISEN. MATHEW 28:6-10

Today is Easter Sunday. Easter is the most important christian festival. Easter marks the ending of lent, a 40 day period of fasting, repentance and spiritual discipline in preparation for Easter. On Easter Sunday christians celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, who was raised from the dead, three days after his death on the cross. What is Easter?

· On the third day after death Jesus came alive and this day is called Easter.

· Christ’s birth, death and resurrection split the world history into two parts – B.C. (Before Christ) and A.D. (Anno Domini).

· As promised he will come again as a judge - He will take the righteous people with him to heaven and sinners will have to go to Hell.

Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the Life”; so we need to call him in our heart, accept him and follow his simple commandments:

· Say ‘NO’ to sins,

· Do not cheat ,do not lie

· Love one other

· Love the Lord (Jesus Christ) with all your heart, soul, mind and strength

HAVE A BLESSED EASTER

Wednesday, 24 March 2010

It was nearly 5 yrs ago,one day my mum had tied a certain amount of money in a her hankerchief and put in our kitchen cabinet drawer.
She had kept this money to use while travelling to visit my grandmother and aunties in Goa. We had financial problems at that time .
One of my mum's close relative had come to our house that day.
In the evening when mum went to check the drawer the money and handkerchief were missing. My mum was very upset she told us about this, and we too didn't know what to do My mum was crying she said that she had been saving that money without spending a penny for herself. We were also upset with this incident.
We used to recite the Divine mercy chaplet at 3 pm every day.We had a picture of the divine mercy near our alter .The next day my daddy, brother and myself knelt down in front of the picture and said the chaplet and we had decided to dedicate that day's chaplet for the stolen money .We prayed to Jesus to put in the mind of that person to return the money.
The very next day that relative of ours came again and she handed the money along with the handkerchief . She said that she found the money with the kerchief in her bag and she didn't know how it came in her bag..
We were all wondering how the money went in her bag, it surely didn't have any legs to walk from the drawer into her bag. Anyway we were very thankful to jesus for making that person return the money..

Thank you Jesus ,Praise you Jesus ..

If two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly father. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them . Jesus in Mathew18:19-20
Whenever you make a vow to God or religious ministry or offerings to God I believe that you should fulfill it no matter what..

1. I had once enrolled with the prayer tower and made a vow to send a particular amount on behalf of my brother and myself..but due to financial problems I was not able to send the full amount although I tried to send whatever i could ...
Years passed by ,I was married and came to UK ..During this time my brother had been trying to get his visa to go to UAE but it was just not happening ,it kept delaying .This was the time I remembered about the vow I had made.
Than when I went to India I posted the money to the prayer tower and after few days of sending the money my brother got his visa and went to the UAE..

2.It was Easter midnight mass.We had to take offerings to the church .my cousin and I had decided to take some fruit to the church . But we were not able to make up our minds so I told her over the phone that I would not take the fruit, but my mum persuaded me to take it ..
So my cousin came ,to go for the mass without the fruit, when she saw my fruit in my hands she was very angry with me. I did'nt like her behaviour so I too decided not to take it and left it back at home.
That fruit was lying in the house for many days though it was one of our favourite one and all of us liked it, none of us had time to cut and eat it ..After a few days when we saw the fruit it had been eaten by some rat ,I guess ,we don't have any rats in our house.
So what belongs to God give it to GOD don't hold it back..
There are many many miracles that have taken place in my life which I have even lost account of ,i wish I had written down all the miraculous things that took place in our lives (my family)..
I will share some which I can remember ,I know it is a shame to say this, for God has one so many good things and we rarely testify..

I remember I had been to the DRCM in 2006 that was after I had finished my B.Ed .Before that I had applied in many schools but had never got any job as a teacher. After coming back from DRCM , (I had been praying to find a suitable job at least part time as I was engaged and my marriage was fixed and also my than fiance didn't want me to work in India as he wanted me to relocate with him in UK).The same day when we returned home my mum told me that there was a vacancy in one of the schools which is 6km from the place we live, our neighbour worked in the same school and she had told my mum about the vacancy.I just couldn't believe my ears, i thanked God for this miracle. After that I had to attend an interview where there were other candidates as well , but I got that job.Praise the Lord.
It was a tempory position of three months ,the teacher was on maternity leave .But she came after two months and I was very depressed I went home and spent the rest of the day crying ..The time came for me to leave that job, I was very upset during that time .After a few days I receive a phone call from a reputed school which I had an intense desire to work for .
I was very very happy as it was like a dream come true for me ...
If I had still been working in the previious school I would not have accepted this job.Jesus knew this very well and so he worked in such a way that I could work with this school which I wanted to for so many years...
Thank you Jesus ....
